Kazakh Leader Nazarbayev Congratulates President Obama on his Reelection

On Nov 7, 2012, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev sent a message of congratulations to President Barack Obama on his historic victory in the U.S. presidential elections.

“The calls of the U.S. Leader for hope and progress strike a deep chord in the hearts of the Kazakh people,” the message reads. President Nazarbayev also stressed that he shares President Obama's vision for a nuclear weapons free world and that Kazakhstan is taking concrete measures to achieve this noble goal.

The President has expressed confidence that further dialogue with the newly reelected President of the United States will strengthen the Kazakh-US strategic partnership.

"I am sure that under your leadership the United States will continue to be a driving force to bring stability and prosperity to the world. I wish you and your family good health, happiness and success in your work, as well as best wishes for the welfare of the people of America," the congratulatory message reads.
